Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm (Kvēsh /j̼ʊq/ [comment] [market; mall]) is a subtropical Small City located in the Zophtevub̄ Provence of the Hobben.
The name Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm is derived from the Sylvin language, as Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm was founded by Maerdes, who was culturaly Tauran.
Climate
Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 22°C (71°F). Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm receives an average of 98 cm/y (38 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm covers an area of nearly 15 km2 (6 mi2), and an average elevation of 5862 m (19232 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm was founded durring the late 17th century in early summer of the year 1595, by Maerdes. The establishment of Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Maerdes electing to pay people to resettle in Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm.
Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm is buildings are speckled and packed arround broad cobblestone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the city's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a city. The city emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The somewhat suffishent have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same divine, all performing the same rituals to bless and anoint buildings, streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holy symbol is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This certainly loves its divine. Asside form the revrent worship, you can see the citizens are preparing for something, and that something isn’t good. Weapons are worn openly. Defensive structures have been recently constructed to guard less used areas of the city. Merchants seem very eager to sell their wares at discount prices. Something is coming.

Kvēshiē̼ùq Gíhm's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields.
